You know life is crazy when....

...when you put your almost 2 year old in the infant carseat.
...when you almost try to feed your 10 week old a banana.
...when you serve your 6 year old's food in baby bowls.
...when you go to bed hungry and realized you forgot to fix yourself a plate for dinner.

Thank God in all situations I quickly realized my mistake and corrected them (esp with the banana).

Baby Kate has slept from 9 pm to 5am for three nights in a row! I am a new woman!

Ug, rain outside, humidity and monster mosquitos!

I love my conversations with the girls at night after prayer. As soon as I can get out the words "in Jesus name we pray", Drew begins, "Mom...." Then a 5 or 10 minute wonderful insight into their heads begins. Last night they were talking about how kids are going to get toys from their prize box (they cleaned out their junk drawers- bottom drawer of each of their dressers). They got a diaper box and filled it almost to the top. Drew suggested that each toy cost a penny. McKenna said that if the child did a nice thing for someone, then they could get a toy for free. Then Drew talked about how she loved the chore chart and that she is excited about earning money. Drew told me about a Tee-pee drawing contest at school and that the prize was $200 and $500 and that she really wanted to win. McKenna added that that wouldn't be fair; so Drew said that she'd split the prize money with her. Drew asked me to help her practice drawing in the morning. After getting dressed, brushing her hair, putting on her shoes, she sat at the breakfast table with markers and began to draw. McKenna sat next to her in her underwear, hair a mess, giving her tips. Oh, they are so different. It kills me that Drew might not win.
