We were up and at em' at 7:00 am! They were really excited (and nervous) to start 2nd grade at a new school. Both came home with great reports. McKenna made 2 new friends and played with her pre-K boyfriend at recess. Drew has an old school buddy in her class and made a new friend as well. I worked on getting their first day of school party ready (a family tradition) while Kate followed me around the house screaming (molars are a bitch!) Ethan watched his favorite movie like 7 times (Sandlot) and kept saying, "we say dang; we don't say shit". Why did they have to put that word in there? Anyway, a great first day for everyone.

YAY, Love when school starts back up...my criminal mischief reports decline when they are occupado!! The girls are getting so big, can't wait to see you guys again. We are almost neighbors now.
How fun!!! I love that 1st day of school tradition. We might have to start one too. Great idea.
